Design Assistant
Ajai joined Kaminskiy Design & Remodeling as a Design Assistant in January 2026. His interest in interior design and creating thoughtful, functional spaces led him to pursue specialized training in the field. He holds certifications in Interior Design and Decorating, Landscape Design, and 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Ajai also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hutchins Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University.
Before beginning his design career, Ajai developed valuable client service and operational experience through positions in hospitality and golf course operations. While attending Sonoma State, he also held several fraternity leadership roles, including Vice President, Director of Philanthropy, and Director of New Membership. These experiences strengthened his communication, organization, project planning, and teamwork skills.
Originally from San Luis Obispo, Ajai moved to San Diego in 2025. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, spending time outdoors, playing sports, and relaxing at the beach. Family is also important to Ajai, who shares a close bond with his twin sisters.
